I have been on my own personal "healing journey" for 59 years.  It is a journey that someone can not take you on who has not made the journey themself.  It is a journey that begins even before birth and continues until our last breath on this earth.  Some believe that it continues beyond.  Each person's beliefs are respected.  I do not believe that I have all the answers, not for myself and certainly not for you.  I am here to act as your guide as you learn to go deep within and find your own answers.  I hope that you find this site enjoyable and your journey enlightening.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself and my beliefs.  I was very shy as a child and the early years of my life.  I was also very sensitive to other people.  I felt that I was alone and different from other people.  I wanted very much to be liked and loved but often felt rejected, sad, and unloved.  One day while standing at the kitchen window, sad and depressed even though I had two beautiful children and a wonderful husband, I questioned my purpose for being on this earth.  "Is this all there is?"  "There must be more to life than this!"  "What on earth am I or any of us here for?"  I heard the answer in my own mind, "To help others get through the pain of being on this earth".  At that time in my life, I was not doing my life's work.  I knew that there was more but I did not know what that was.   I just knew that I had to begin searching because my spirit was dying.  That was the beginning of a new chapter in my life.  Since the young age of 12, I had known that I wanted to be a counselor.  It was time that I fulfilled that calling so I returned to school to obtain my masters degree in Counseling Psychology at Boston University.

Thus another part of my journey began, just as you are about to begin another part of your journey.  I believe that you and I are already in some way energetically connected or you would not be viewing this page.  I believe that you may be seeking answers to your own questions.  Perhaps: how to be happy; what is your purpose of this earth; how to experience more joy in your life; or even how to feel more closely connected to others or to spirit.  Whatever your questions, I believe that sometimes we need others to help us find our own answers.  Go ahead!  View the other pages on this site.  Then send an email to lindahines@lindahines.com as indicated below and take another step on the path of "The Healing Journey".
